Last month's puzzle August/10)
My very smart granddaughter came to visit, and brought with her a bag of small polished rocks she wanted to show me. "How many rocks are in the bag?" I asked. "60 altogether, some brown, some purple, a few white, and the rest are blue", she said. I reached into the bag and pulled out six, one after the other, two brown, two blue and two white. "Wow", she said, "the odds of that happening are one to 11,210".
How many purple rocks were in the bag? 13
(12, 6 and 29 of the other colours)
